George Osborne - Vacuous Nonentity Destined For Great Things,

In a lengthy article today the "Guardian" has managed to encapusulate everything that is wrong with Britain. The article concerned George Osborne and his journey from a 17 year old "A" level student to Cancellor of the Exchequer. He was apparently able to win, at his school St.Pauls, a debate in which he argued against nuclear disarmament even though his arguments were actually presented by someone else reading his notes. The "Guardian" writer, Elizabeth Day, apparently sees this as an early indication of future greatness. The reason, because a Tory won a debate arguing against nuclear disarmament in a school attended exclusively by Tories. He was always "preternaturally" mature, the author suggested. Really? Does that include the time when, at the age of 22, he allowed hismelf to be photographed with his arm around a prostitute, an inane grin on his face and a line of coke on the coffee table in front of him? He is apparently brilliant, despite lacking the imagination to avoid the mistakes made by his Tory predecessors in 1929 and, despite all his advantages, only managing a lacklustre 2:2 in Modern History at university. And that is what is wrong with this country - the fact that a moron can rise to the top simply because he has the right connections. We are stuck in the 18th century and will continue to languish there as long as we listen to absolute twaddle like this. The "Guardian" should be ashamed of itself for publishing this disgusting propaganda.
