Cameron - Make It Easier To Sack People
As the IMF began to panic and implored countries not to persue budget cuts but, instead, consider stimulating their economies, Cameron delivered his answer to the crisis - make it easier to sack people. "Its a well know fact," he told our reporter after his keynote speech yesterday, "that taking workers rights away from them is a sure fire way of ending a recession. We confidently expect that, by making it impossible for people to sue employers for wrongful dismissal, we will create millions of jobs in the economy. It will certainly add a stimulus to the cap making industry as workers rush to buy one in order to doff it to their superiors. And remember, in order to build good foundations you first have to dig a deep hole." We asked a spokesperson for the IMF for his reaction; "Oh God, we're boned," he said, "this idiot will still be digging his bloody hole when it fills with water and drowns us all."
