BBC Continues To Ignore US Protests In Favour Of "The Simpsons."

The BBC has continued to enhance its reputation for cutting edge reporting in the United States by leading with the story that the "Simpsons" is to continue for at least another two seasons. Good news for "Simpsons" fans and in keeping with the BBC's approach to cartoon reporting. Meanwhile, as the New York police continue to whale into the protestors with their night sticks, the BBC seems to have quit the city completely. It reminds me of that line in the "War of the Worlds" - "Once the machines begin to move, no news comes out of that area." The BBC were also able to breath a sigh of relief and regroup for further attacks in support of the Tory party in the light of yet another "Royal" wedding as Paul McCartney marries for the third time. "There's nothing like a wedding to take the pressure off," a BBC insider told us. "It's a pity he didn't invite a raft of royals and sports personalities to divert attention, but you can't have eveything. Did you see the wedding dress by the way? It was designed by Stella McCartney."
