Liam Fox Resigns: BBC Falls Over Itself To Be Nice To Him.

In a disgusting display of fawning the BBC went into overdrive today to limit the damage done to their favourite political party. "He admitted his "mistakes" and showed himself to be an honourable man," a BBC commentator informed us in all seriousness. "Did he really have to resign?" "Would you like to tell us what a wonderful job Mr.Fox has done and how difficult all this has been for him?" asked another. After years of tearing into Gordon Brown for not having the right smile, the BBC now falls over itself to invite Tories to tell us how bad they feel about all this and how wonderful Dr.Fox really is - including the man whose lack of judgement led to his appointment in the first place, David Cameron. The fact that this Minister allowed an agent of foreign powers and interest groups to have direct access to the British government seems have completely gone right over their heads. So too has the little matter of motive. Why would Liam Fox allow such a thing to happen? Was there really no money involved? Did Liam Fox allow Adam Werritty to accompany him on official business because he felt sorry for him for not having many friends? Who are these people trying to kid? The fact that this Tory government is so far right wing that they see corruption as a right goes unremarked in all this. Democracy in Britain? It would certainly be a good idea.
