Billy Bragg Reads "The News In Shorts"

In a shock revelation on tonight's edition of "Question Time" it transpires that Billy Bragg might well be an avid reader of "The News In Shorts." In response to a question about "quantative easing" his answer was almost word for word a reiteration of our story "Mervyn Kings Fills Bankers Pockets." We asked our reporter who authored the story for his reaction. "Well he either reads us as you suggest or he's a bloody genius. Personally I doubt he would have had time to read the story before the show so he must be a genius. All I've got to say about it is "Billy Bragg for Prime Minister." Baroness Warsi, also a panelist on tonights "Question Time" was less impressed. "What does a pop singer know about the economy compared to that true genius George Osborne? All Billy Bragg wants to do is return us to the evils of full employment, expand rights for workers and save the economy from disaster. George, on the other hand, has set out a very persuasive argument for strangling the economy for its own good. I rest my case."
