Brexit: The Whole Sorry Saga.

Two months on and how is Brexit fairing? Well, the Tory party is still tearing itself apart over Europe, torn now between those who know that Brexit is a bloody stupid idea and those who are too stupid to know its a stupid idea. The grandees of the Tory party are circling around Article 50 like sharks trying to make up their minds if it will bite back - not one willing to start the process when their careers are at stake. The lies about all the foreigners leaving the country overnight and the £350 million per week for the NHS are now exposed for what they were while the "sunny uplands"of "independence" from Europe no longer look so sunny and the uplands look more like dark and deep chasms of economic doom. Theresa May has handed over Britain's economic future to Liam Fox and Boris Johnson with instructions for them to go abroad and put their money where their mouths are. Characteristically Fox and Johnson immediately started a turf war, more concerned about themselves than the country they profess to love. Meanwhile, in political terms, the whole thing is turning out to be a bit of an embarrassment. Britain's membership of the EU represents a huge amount of law that must now be unpicked and repealed in the only institution where such unpicking and repealing can be done - Parliament. Unfortunately most MP's are not too keen on the hard work needed for such a task, while most of them were against the idea in the first place. How many Parliamentary votes does it take for Britain to leave the EU? None, if you're a Brexiteer, because the Parliamentary democratic process will almost certainly fail to deliver the desired result. None, if you want to "Remain", because no MP in their right mind wants to wreck the economy and make stuffing their offshore bank accounts with taxpayers money even more difficult than it already is. Democracy, the thing that delivered Brexit in the first place, is becoming increasingly difficult for those in power, who never liked it much in any case, to handle, while their utter incompetence and unsuitability for the job is now glaringly obvious. Brexit is not a case of the blind leading the blind, but of the stupid leading the stupid.

Liam Fox Demands More Advantages For Crooks.

Liam Fox has made a call for Cameron to harness the "popularity" of Margaret Thatcher and back "wealth creators". His ideas include lowering taxes for the wealthy and deregulating their activities which, he assures us, will magically release their "entrepenurial energy." In other words the same old self-serving claptrap that has wrecked the world economy over the last 30 years. The real problem is that the majority of the ultra-rich, which are the people that Fox is talking about, are not wealth creators. They are wealth hoarders who are more likley to bury their money in tax-free off shore accounts than invest them in risky business ventures. Few of them are entrepeneurs at all. Most of them use other people's money to gamble on various shady financial deals which deregulation has allowed them to fix through various scams. All this, of course, is par for the course for a Tory but it is worth reminding ourselvers who Dr.Liam Fox actually is. In the 1980's while a student at Glasgow University he resigned from the Glasgow University Union in protest when the Union allowed gay students to join it. Appointed as Minister of Defence in 2010, it quickly came to light that he had fraudulently claimed £22,476 in mortgage interest payments to which he was not entitled and which gave him the dubious distinction of having he largest over-claim on expenses in Parliament. As the Minister for Defence Fox claimed a staggering £19,000 for mobile telephone calls and was found to be claiming expenses for a London flat that he was renting out to someone else. Finally in 2010 he was forced to resign when it was discovered that he had used taxpayers money to fund trips abroad for his friend, Adam Werritty, and that Werritty had been allowed illegal access to sensitive information and to pretend that he was one of Fox's official advisors. In other words Dr Liam Fox is a crook while his call for Cameron to "encourage" so-called "wealth creators" is nothing more than a bid for the legitimisation of his own shady dealings. In other words Fox is a typical Tory seeking to elevate having no principles to the level of a principle.

Tories Move To Next Phase Of The Class War.

Having deliberately caused a double-dip recession in order to provide the necessary alibi for an assault on the welfare state and to starve the NHS of funds to soften it up for privatisation, the Tories are now rolling out their flanking attack on ordinary working people. Liam Fox is calling for even more swinging cuts in welfare in order to fund a tax cut for himself and his rich mates under cover of the need to "stimulate" the economy and show that Britain is "open for business." In effect, of course, he is merely telling the world that the Tories are willing to expose the people of Britain to exploitation. Still he was always willing to go further than most Tories in his campaign to enrich himself at our expense and seems to have been given the unofficial position of giving the rest of us the bad news. The opening salvo is the reduction of the maximum £72,000 compensation cap for unfair dismissal to one years pay. Of course if you're a banker that could run into millions - for the rest of us it would be considerably less. The reintroduction of slavery into Britain has moved on with the declaration that those being forced to labour for less than the minimum wage must not be promised a job in the future. Meanwhile the cost of Ian Duncan Smith's "reform" of welfare remains a closely regarded secret since the truth is that it is not about saving money but about exploiting the unemployed. Coupled with the deliberate undermining of education, which is rapidly becoming an export only industry, the message is as clear as it is outrageous - the Tories are selling us down the river to enrich themselves and those who pay their wages. They are deliberately turning this country into a sweatshop - hence the parallel attack on health and safety - because they cannot stomach the alternative of a highly-paid, highly skilled workforce. They see us as peasants and intend to treat us as such.

Tory Plans Begin To Bear Fruit As NHS Sinks.

There is growing excitement in the Tory party today as their plan to destroy the NHS finally begins to bear fruit. Hospitals up and down the country are close to collapse as they are starved of funds and money is diverted into Andrew Lansley's privatisation fund. To celebrate Liam Fox, the Tories best-known crook, has called for yet more tax cuts for the rich as he and the rest of the Tory party congratulate themselves for literally getting away with murder. "This recession was a Godsend," a leading Tory told our reporter. "How else could a government plan and execute a theft on such a massive scale or get away with what amounts to the mass murder of its own citizens. Assad, pah! The man's a bloody amateur!" Meanwhile George Osborne has signalled his determination to stick with his planned recession. "We Tories were very worried when Labour seemed to be getting Britain out of recession and was about to close the door on the opportunity of a lifetime. Fortunately the British electorate remained stupid enough to give us just enough votes to take a wrecking ball to all of that. Now they can't do anything to stop us until 2015. By then we'll have taken the economy back to where it belongs - the 1840's - day labouring will be the norm, the NHS will have been sold off to the Yanks and the whole of the north will be combined into a single constituency. I love the smell of Tory bullshit in the morning."

Reality Closes In On Cameron.

Two seperate tidal waves are about to engulf David Cameron, one from the Left and one from the Right, as reality finally catches up with this hapless dreamer of what is a nightmare for the rest of us. The first tidal wave on the horizon has been set in moton by the TUC which has finally come to the conclusion that they have to do something if the country is not to be forever changed into a parody of Dickensian Britain. In his speech to the TUC today Ed Balls came very, very close to giving his blessing to a general strike as he, unlike Ed Milliband, realises that the moment of decision is fast approaching. It must be said, however, that he allowed himself a huge amount of "wriggle room" when it came to economic policy under any future Labour government. Meanwhile those behind the "stalking horse" plan to dislodge Cameron from within the Tory party itself have been revealed as David Davis and Liam Fox - both right-wing madmen with a personal grudge against their leader. David Davis is the man defeated by Cameron during the last leadership contest. Liam Fox was the man sacked from his cabinet post when it became obvious that he couldn't tell the difference between his ministry and a personal fiefdom where his best friend, Adam Werrity, could solicit bribes from various shady right-wing organisations. In other words they are a team made up of a loser and a crook. These two men are not attacking Cameron because they think he's gone too far, but because they think he's not gone far enough. Not content with Cameron's Tory wet dream, they are calling for a full-on violent rape of the country.

Liam Fox Urges Economic Suicide.

In a speech intended to herald his political comeback and stab his leader between the shoulder blades, Liam Fox has called for a referendum on Britain's membership of the EU. "We in the Tory party have already come a long way in destroying the British economy, but I strongly believe that the British people themselves should have the opportunity to pass the death sentence on it," he told reporters today. "As the party tnat believes that unthinking prejudice, especially when directed at Johnny Foreigner, is the best basis for policy decision-making it is only right that we should ask those least qualified to make the final judgement and no one is least qualified than your average British voter. The last thing we need now is cool heads and a sensible outlook. If we, as a nation, are to enter into a mutual suicide pact then we should do it togther like the lemmings we are. This is Britain and we should not soil our hands with anything as sordid as trade - unless its arms manufacturing or banking of course." Meanwhile David Cameron, still staggering from this latest knife in the back, promised a referendum. "There will have to be a referendum soemtime in the next million years or so," he said. "However, what the question should actually be depends on what answer we want. It's no good having a straightforward in-or-out vote. That will only confuse the electorate and make it difficult for them to choose the answer we're looking for. What we need is a more obscure question that can be interpreted in the way we want."
