In a callous disregard for public safety the Tory-led coalition has allowed air quality in Britain to fall to an all time low. We asked the Environment Secretary, Caroline Spellman for her view; "We have to be very careful of air quality if we're not to be fined by the EU. However, maintaining air quality is very expensive and to avoid putting up taxes for the wealthy we've decided to poison poor people living in inner cities. This might sound callous but I urge voters not to worry too much - I'm sure we won't get fined by the EU in the near future. We believe that choking on the atmosphere is a viable alternative to spending money and I'm sure that the vast majority of those voters who count in this country will agree."
