Millionaires Looking To Take Advantage Of Unpaid Volunteers.

A4E (Action For Employment), headed by Emma Harrison who pays herself £1.4 million and is pictured above, asked the Volunteer Centre Oxfordshire to provide unpaid volunteers for classes in CV writing. We asked A4E for a comment; "Well, as anyone who has attempted to write a CV will know, they are fiendishly difficult to compile. They involve putting down on paper your name, address, age and education and employment history and, in our experience, few people know how to do this. Our classes are designed to teach your average unemployed Neanderthal to type using his fingers instead of his knuckles and also how to sharpen a pencil as an effective contingency plan. As you can imagine teachers for such subjects are highly specialised and expensive. To save taxpayers money, and in order to trouser as much money as possible ourselves, we asked for volunteers from Oxfordshire because our research indicates that the county happens to have a surplus of such people. It is a fact that CV writing is the most important feature of our work and we provide specialised training in this area that is the envy of the world." We asked our education editor for his view; "It's money for old rope isn't it? These organisations always claim that CV writing is the key to finding employment because its about the only thing they can offer when jobs are so scarce. If clever CV writing was the answer then unemployment wouldn't be a problem would it? Organisations like A4E are little more than parasites siphoning off millions of pounds that could be better spent on investment in real jobs. Still, Emma Harrison looks pleased with herself."
