Cameron Doubles Spending On Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

Just when people thought the Tories couldn't be more hypocritical, David Cameron has directed more than twice as much money must be spent on the Olympic opening ceremony. The cost is to rise from £40 million to £81 million, the price of thousands of teachers, nurses and policemen, in order to entertain the world for a few hours. We asked David Cameron for an explaination; "I am now a very important world leader and it is vitally important that I should be shown in the best possible light. It's a matter of national pride, or at least Tory pride, and is worth every penny of other people's money I intend to spend. The Olympic Games provide a showcase to the world and I am determined that the rest of the world should go away with the erroneous impression that we are a vibrant democracy. To this end security has also been stepped up to make sure there is no form of protest or rioting by the working class scum of this country. Anyway I am convinced that most British people will welcome this development since it's a well-known fact that sport is the most important thing in the world."
