Cannibalism Engulfs Wall Street.

After worldwide protests by ordinary people have been laregly ignored and the political elite picked up its collective skirts and ran for high ground, it looks as if the only force that can bring down Wall Street turns out to be Wall Street itself. As with predators everywhere denied their natural prey - the rest of us - they are resorting to cannibalism, tearing into each other's flesh with savage bestiality as each tries to survive in a barren landscape. The list of lawsuits being brought against the banks and financial institutions is truely terrifying with restitution being sought in the trillions of dollars. First up is the Federal Housing Finance Agency which is suing no less than 17 banks for fraud. They in turn are suing each other in an attempt to reverse the deadly game of "pass the parcel" that saw them knowingly sell packages of bad debt from bank to bank as they all prayed that the music wouldn't stop. If Federal action were not enough, however, individual states such as Iowa and Nevada are whaling into the banks on their own behalf. The evidence of deliberate fraud is astonishing and simply too widespread to be hidden. What remains to be seen is how many of the big players, the CEO's of such organisations as Goldman Sachs, eventually find themselves in prison and how far governments are willing to go to protect these "Lords Of Creation." With our financial institutions standing revealed as criminal organisations and democracy being underminned for financial expediency will we now abandon the rule of law?
